Raising Above Anxiety (Virtual)
Discussion with writer Julene Butler about her children’s books she wrote to share her journey with anxiety. She will be talking about getting to the place of wanting to write the book Knots in my Laces, Knots in my Tummy, and share her experience with others who have found a familiar story in her publications.
Julene Butler is a Child and youth worker with the TDSB. In her role as a child and youth practitioner, she has helped hundreds of clients manage their emotional and mental challenges. In her first book, Knots in My Laces, Knots in My Tummy, Julene leverages over 19 years of experience working with kids and a passion for writing to create an accessible resource that gets parents and young children talking about mental health. She will talk about her journey as an author and the link between writing and mental wellness.
