Artscape: Healing Through Art
Art is power. Joy is resistance. This Black Mental Health Week, Artscape: Healing Through Art offers a transformative space for self-expression, healing, and community connection through creative writing and visual arts.
In a world that often seeks to silence us, we are reclaiming our voices, our stories, and our joy—on our own terms. This judgment-free space is a place to:
- Express yourself through writing and visual storytelling
- Break through creative blocks and explore new artistic forms
- Use creativity as a tool for healing, empowerment, and self-discovery
- Celebrate Black narratives in an environment that affirms and uplifts
Whether you're picking up a pen or a paintbrush, this workshop is about creating freely, unapologetically, and joyfully—because our stories deserve to be told.
Come as you are. Create as you feel. Find joy. Take up space. Resist.
