Humour for Healers
Humour for Healers is hosted by Natasha Halliday. This discussion-based workshop is designed to encourage practitioners to explore the use of humour in their practice, understanding its benefits and its limitations.
Participants will examine the infusion of humour through storytelling, Safe and Effective Use of Self (SEUS), and the lens of culture. This workshop gives mental health professionals an opportunity to share and hear from other practitioners while exploring the intentional, appropriate use of comedy in their practice.
This is a closed event designed specifically for members of the African Caribbean Black (ACB) community to engage in a supportive and affirming space. Please acknowledge this registration requirement and only proceed to sign-up if you self-identify as African Caribbean Black.
