It Was All A Dream!
An Expressive Arts-Based Workshop created to inspire and equip young leaders to dream big, break barriers, and use history as a catalyst for personal and collective transformation.
This dynamic workshop empowers youth (15+) to become agents of change through creative expression, storytelling, and deep self-reflection. Participants will explore the journeys of Black inventors, diving beyond their achievements to examine the challenges that shaped their success. Through thought-provoking discussions, they will connect these historical struggles to their own aspirations, identifying personal barriers and strategizing ways to overcome them.
In the Creative Kitchen, participants will have full access to the "We Did THAT!" arts-buffet—an open space for imaginative creation. They will be challenged to design and present an innovative idea, artwork, or project that reflects their dreams and their potential impact on the world.
Purpose: To inspire and equip young leaders to dream big, break barriers, and use history as a catalyst for personal and collective transformation.
