Tools to Help Black Families Navigate The Complexities of Social Services
A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO NAVIGATING SOCIAL SERVICES
This presentation is a practical guide to help Black families cope with anxiety amid social service navigation.
It aims to create a pathway through the process of social service navigation, assisting Black families in understanding the procedures and practices that may be relevant while navigating community resources.
When you need mental health support or access to community resources, it can be hard to know where to turn. Your options may vary, depending on your diagnosis, age, language, where you live and whether you have access to benefits. This guide addresses key questions to help you navigate the community and social services.
