Toronto’s 10-Year Action Plan to Confronting Anti-Black Racism – Community Engagement
Join us for a pivotal moment in the journey towards confronting anti-Black racism in Toronto. The Soft Launch of the Community Engagements to inform the development Toronto’s 10-Year Action Plan to Confronting Anti-Black Racism marks the beginning of a series of discussions that will shape the future of our city. This event, hosted by the City of Toronto’s Confronting Anti-Black Racism Unit, takes place during the Black Mental Health Week Opening Ceremony, aligning with this year's theme, "Growth and Reflection”.
This facilitated community discussion will be centered around the theme of Black Mental Health, grounded in the principles of the United Nations International Decade for People of African Descent (UN IDPAD). The data collected during these engagements will play a crucial role in shaping the actions and recommendations included in the new Action Plan.
